Klikaktiv Strongly Condemns the Violence Against Civilians in Gaza and the Silence of the International Community

Klikaktiv strongly condemns the ongoing and systematic violence against the civilian population of Gaza, which has for months faced the complete destruction of basic living conditions. We call on the international community to ensure the establishment of humanitarian corridors for the delivery of food and medicine, as well as for the evacuation of civilians to safe territories where they will have access to asylum and be protected from persecution.

More than 60,000 people have been killed, including a vast number of children, and hundreds of thousands have been left without homes, food, water, or medical care. Among them are the most vulnerable—those who are ill, pregnant women, people with disabilities, and children. Humanitarian aid is being blocked, and hospitals and shelters are under constant attack.

Klikaktiv expresses deep concern over the absence of a decisive response from the international community, particularly from those actors who possess the political means to contribute to ending the violence and ensuring the delivery of humanitarian assistance. We firmly believe that the responsibility to protect civilians is shared, and that silence and inaction amount to complicity in the crimes unfolding daily before the eyes of the world.

Human lives must not be left to depend on the “mercy” of an occupying force. We must not remain silent in the face of the destruction of an entire people.

We stand in solidarity with the victims and with all those in Gaza who are struggling to survive and preserve their dignity, despite conditions deliberately created to deprive them of every right and every hope.

Organizacija Klikaktiv najoštrije osuđuje kontinuirano i sistematsko nasilje nad civilnim stanovništvom Gaze, koje se već mesecima suočava s potpunim uništenjem osnovnih uslova za život i poziva međunarodnu zajednicu da obezbedi humanitarne koridore za dostavljanje hrane i lekova, ali i za evakuaciju civila na bezbednu teritoriju gde će imati pristup azilu i biti zaštićeni od progona. 

Više od 60.000 ljudi je ubijeno, uključujući ogroman broj dece, a stotine hiljada su ostale bez doma, pristupa hrani, vodi i zdravstvenoj zaštiti. Među njima su i najranjiviji – bolesni, trudnice, ljudi s invaliditetom, deca. Humanitarna pomoć je blokirana, a bolnice i skloništa su pod konstantnim napadima.

Klikaktiv izražava duboku zabrinutost zbog izostanka odlučne reakcije međunarodne zajednice, posebno onih aktera koji raspolažu političkim sredstvima da doprinesu prekidu nasilja i omoguće dostavu humanitarne pomoći. Uverenja smo da je odgovornost za zaštitu civila zajednička i da ćutanje i nečinjenje predstavljaju saučesništvo u zločinima koji se svakodnevno odvijaju pred očima sveta.

Ne sme se dopustiti da ljudski životi zavise od „milosti“ okupacione sile. Ne sme se ćutati pred razaranjem čitavog naroda.

Solidarni smo sa žrtvama i svim ljudima u Gazi koji pokušavaju da prežive i sačuvaju dostojanstvo uprkos uslovima koji su svesno stvoreni da ih liše svakog prava i nade.
